When we talk about your “IDENTITY” as a driver of your messaging, we’re saying that you need to answer the question “Why.”  Why do you do what you do?  What motivates to you to serve?  What is the reason for your chosen profession?  Why did you make that decision?

In Law Enforcement, it’s a good question.  Why did you become a Police Officer?  You might consider seeking out opportunities to tell people the answer to that question.  Below is a pretty good example of that out of CBS2 in Los Angeles.  Pay close attention at the 1:25 mark.  The deputy’s reason why he became a police officer is pretty compelling and explains the behavior on display in the story.
