Course Type:  Leadership Training

Appropriate for:  Elected leaders, first responder supervisors and command staff, emergency management officials

When it comes to a crisis, it’s not a matter of “if” but “when.”  Your community is counting on you to lead them through even the toughest situations.  ProResponder will teach you the skills and techniques necessary to develop strategies that allow you to do that.

Attendees will learn leadership strategies necessary to prepare your team for a crisis, as well as lead them through it.  Training will include a number of mock training scenarios as well as “on-camera” exercises for every course participant. The exercises are intended to give attendees useful experience in realistic situations. It is important to learn not only during your experience, but also from your fellow course participants. To make the most of the training environment, attendees are encouraged to treat the scenarios with the same professionalism intended to take into the field.

Our mission is to provide high-quality media relations training, crisis communication training and public relations training to city and county public information officers, key personnel and the finest first responders in the world.

16 continuing education hours certified.

Tuition:

$477.00 per person (plus a $22 non-refundable registration fee).
